Below is a description of the fields found in the REC Hotspots data. These describe the data from the REC Hotspots data layer -- -- Large Mammals 2015 through 2023.
total_vl -- Represents the total value across all years of analysis (2015 - 2023).
total_nc -- Total number of vehicle collisions / carcasses on roadway across all years.
annl_vl -- Annually value (total_vl / number of years).
annl_nc -- Annual number of collisions (total_nc / num_years).
route_id -- Route ID, such as the highway number.
gcluster -- Description of the value's significance.
localgstar -- Measure of statistical clustering, with values greater than 1.96 being significant clustering.
topXperc -- Whether the value represents a top 90, 95, or 99 percent (or not).
